Group Services

A range of educational, skills-based, and therapeutic group options are provided to clients based on client needs, their readiness for change, and availability. Group services include, but are not limited to, the Pathways Program, Relapse Prevention, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Early Change Group.

Auricular Acupuncture is offered at all community treatment locations. It is a nonverbal therapy that occurs in a group format and involves the insertion of five, very fine, sterile needles into specific points of each ear. It is considered a complementary treatment and is most effective when used in combination with other therapies specific to substance use.

Mindfulness Meditation is the practice of paying attention, in a nonjudgmental way, to the present moment. Cultivating mindfulness helps the individual be present with whatever is happening, no matter what it is. This is the key to overcoming all types of suffering. The Mindfulness Meditation Group provides the opportunity to practice the skill of mindfulness and to discuss how mindfulness can be utilized to improve the quality of day to day living.
