Language Interpretation Services

Through our digital language interpretation services provider, professional medical interpreters are available 24/7 in over 240 languages and dialects, including American Sign Language (ASL).To access this service, please speak to your health-care team.
Closed Captioning

Closed captioning is available on patient televisions. This can be requested as part of our regular television rental process.
Portable Teletypewriter (TTY) Devices

Portable TTY devices are available to patients renting telephone services at one of our hospital sites. To request a TTY device, please call 905-576-8711 ext. 32077. Please allow up to two business days for installation.
Pocket Talkers

Pocket talkers for patients who are deaf, deafened, or hard-of-hearing. These devices can be requested through a member of your health-care team.
