We help coordinate the delivery of:

- Cancer screening at all hospitals and several independent clinics
Regional Cancer Centre
The R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre (DRCC) is located at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa. This 90,000 square-foot facility sees approximately 125,000 patient visits per year, has 27 chemotherapy treatment spaces, 7 Linear accelerators (radiation machines), 2 CT simulators and 1 OR/Bracytherapy Suite.

Partner Hospitals
Northumberland Hills Hospital
In an environment that is both respectful and friendly the Cobourg Lions and Lioness Cancer and Supportive Care Clinic provides oncology care for cancer patients living in Northumberland County. Chemotherapy, supportive treatments, education, palliative care and pain management are provided to support our patients and their families with the diagnosis, treatments and follow up for cancer. Patients benefit from the expertise of the many health care professionals here at Northumberland Hills Hospital as well as visiting oncology, hematology, and radiation oncology expertise through our partnership with the Durham Regional Cancer Centre. Our Cancer Clinic team is committed to providing the best quality of care close to home.

Peterborough Regional Health Centre
The Cancer Care team at Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) provides an inter-professional approach to patient assessment, treatment, follow-up care and support. In partnership with the Durham Regional Cancer Program, PRHC provides cancer care to our patients in Peterborough, Haliburton, Kawartha and Pine Ridge. In 2013, we opened the Norm and Jessie Dysart Radiation Suite, allowing us to provide radiation treatment for patients closer to home.

Ross Memorial Hospital
Ross Memorial Hospital provides compassionate care to local cancer patients. Services include OBSP mammography, OBSP breast assessment clinic, high risk breast MRI scans, breast and bowel surgery, surgical pathology services, and the palliative pain and symptom management clinic. RMH works with the Durham Region Cancer Centre to offer a radiation oncology clinic so patients can see an oncologist for pre and post treatment visits in their own community.

Scarborough Health Network
Scarborough Health Netwrok (SHN) Cancer Care program prides itself in providing holistic care and treating patients throughout their entire journey: from diagnosis, to surgery, through chemotherapy and radiation, and on to supportive care and recovery.
The program has expertise in diagnosing and treating common cancers, including breast, colorectal, lung, prostate and lymphoma. SHN's Centenary site is home to the Paediatric Oncology Satellite Clinic, in partnership with Sick Kids and the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO).
The cancer care team at SHN consists of oncologists, specialized oncology nurses, nurse navigators, pharmacists, social workers, diagnostic technicians, surgeons and many other health professionals to provide patients with seamless care so that their experience is as stress-free and comforting as possible.

Haliburton Highlands Health Services
Haliburton Highlands Health Services (HHHS) Hospice in conjunction with the Central East Local Health Integration Network provides hospice/palliative care services to the residents of Haliburton County. Although we do not have treatment services such as chemotherapy and radiation, HHHS Hospice provides a program which offers compassionate care and support for people facing a life threatening or serious illness and their loved ones. Hospice provides practical and emotional support to residents in their own homes, in the palliative bed at HHHS and through the Cancer Support Group and our lending library. Following the death of a loved one, Hospice can offer one-to-one bereavement support to family members to help them cope with their loss.

Campbellford Memorial Hospital
Campbellford Memorial Hospital (CMH) partners with Peterborough Regional Health Centre in determining palliative services and treatment for the 30,000 residents of Campbellford, Peterborough, Hastings County and surrounding areas. Although we do not have treatment services such as chemotherapy and radiation, CMH has been proactive in ensuring that our inpatients receive high quality standardized palliative care as close to home as possible. CMH leads the Trent Hills Palliative Collaboration which includes partners Community Care Northumberland, Central East Community Care Access Centre, long-term care facilities and Bridge Hospice. Our multidisciplinary team has achieved five objectives: continuing and current education health care providers and community members; a common referral form; direct admission for patients who present to our Emergency Department; an order set for palliative patients; and patient and family education material.
