The LH surgical team is represented by General Surgery, Gynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, Ophthalmology, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Thoracic Surgery and Urology.  Both Oshawa and Ajax-Pickering hospitals are supported by full ER, ICU, and Radiology/Interventional Radiology teams.  Opportunities for Adjunct Faculty appointments exist at both the University of Toronto and Queen’s University.

Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (locum):

Ajax-Pickering Hospital

The Division of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS) is currently seeking a surgeon to join our team as a locum, at our Ajax-Pickering Hospital.  The successful applicant will share 1:6 call, covering Lakeridge Health’s 4 acute, 1 chronic care and 1 ambulatory surgical sites.  ER coverage is provided at Oshawa and Ajax-Pickering hospitals.  The recruited surgeon will join the Ajax site. Currently available OR time is 5 blocks per month combined between Ajax and Jerry Coughlan sites. The applicant will be expected to provide comprehensive general OHNS services.

Applicants must be eligible for licensure by the CPSO, and must have completed a recognized Otolaryngology residency, with FRCSC certification.  This position will commence on August 1st, 2024.
